Homework folders (blue) will go home with students every night and should be returned to school every morning. Inside the folder you will find a monthly calendar outlining the homework list. Students will get about 15 minutes of homework a day. The homework is generally a half-sheet of white paper with the day of the week in the top right corner. Please see the homework list inside your child’s folder for directions. As a part of Executive Functioning, we are encouraging students to keep their folders neat and orderly. Materials found on the Left side of the folder are to be “left” at home (i.e. graded papers, notes home). Papers found on the right side of the folder are to come “right” back to school (i.e. homework, notes to be signed). Please help your child keep his/her folder organized.
Below you will find extra math work and advanced reading passages that you can download at home if you want extra work for your child. This is not being assigned. If you choose to download it and want to send it to school in your child's folder for me to see it and know they are doing it that would be great! Do not feel you have to do any of it...I know that some parents have asked for some extra work and here you go!
